Links Golf Club is part of a private residential development that includes an extensive recreational/health Club and a superb golf club house built in the traditional North Queenslander style. Links Golf Club, Port Douglas is located approximately 60 kilometers north of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland., the gateway to the famous Great Barrier Reef and the many other attractions such as The Daintree.
The 18-hole, par 71 golf course plays 6,125 metres from the back tees and is aptly named "The Links" Its traditional links-style layout was designed by the acclaimed design firm Thomson, Wolveridge and Perrett, which has designed 170 courses worldwide. Michael Wolveridge, who has made Port Douglas his home, said he believes The Links, Port Douglas will eclipse all the firm’s previous designs.

Paradise Palms, designed by Graham Marsh & Ross Watson, the 6592 metre, Par 72 (rated 76) course is regarded by many who have played it as one of the most demanding ever created.
Set on the site of a former sugar cane plantation and bordered by a rainforest clad range and the Coral Sea, the course has been further enhanced by the planting of over 4000 trees. These include Royal Palms, Mango, Lychee, Sapoti, Poinciana and Frangipani. One of the most surprising aspects of Paradise Palms is that it is open to the public. Green fees can be likened to "membership for the day", and gives players access to the full range of Clubhouse facilities and use of the Recreation Centre
